Review: Revenge is hardly a fresh concept in film creation. The basic topic, but here's the back seat to the stylized performance from the oven. Told through all-star cast, the story develops slowly, but firmly. Set in a rural, today America, capturing beautiful country and honor camera which is apparently lose under the weight of war and the economy. Cast skilled fleshes out the various Character fix credibility and give them a rare degree of depth. There is a palpable atmosphere is probably an element of real human drama star in the film. The entire cast is excellent and important, but Christian Bale and Woody Harrelson completely steal the show. As a villain bad-to-the-bones script, Harrelson is awesomely despicable, his only presence solicitation anxiety screen. Alternatively, Bale plays well, but worried husband, sentenced to watch life falls apart one piece at a time. I caught the director, Scott Cooper, in an interview segment on Carson Daly. He mentioned a desire to influence and immerse the audience in his films. In this regard, I judge these efforts be undeniable success. In some scenes, I found myself echoing the action and emotion displayed on screen, such as anxiety, freedom, restlessness, excitement, and especially relieved spiritual tranquility. More drama than action, tone for me was reminiscent The Place Beyond the Pines, others cooked through crime drama with a certain taste. Also I felt that the number of Pearl Jam, which opens and closes the film was the perfect choice for the intended atmosphere, a worthy of a special mention. Overall, this film is very good, but lacks spell a glimpse of the action film. As a drama, I recommend it for fans of the genre.
