Review: Before I continue with this review, please note that I have not read the book, but I'm about to go in the very near future :) Note that a (straight) type ... it matters: PWow thing I can say about this movie. Beginning from the moment the title sequence, I was immediately excited. Scene to scene in this film manages to suck me in this beautiful world of Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters. The chemistry between Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elsort are amazing, and the performances were amazing. Frankly, it's the best movie I saw throughout the year, even better than Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Godzilla, which was a massive surprise. I just thought it would be another teen love story and boy was I wrong. I loved this movie and recommend it to everyone for all age groups. I go up and praised the film now, so I'm going back to review.The direction and cinematography was fantastic. Not a single shot felt odd or out of place. Each shot matched the scene and felt really. The editing was also great as after shot of people's faces and where they were shot adjusted (typically good thing film editing). The play was perhaps one of the best aspects of the film. Ernst makes the two characters feel real and alive, and sometimes forgot I was fiction and not based on a true story. Their appearance was in my mind as hot and definitely worthy of an Oscar. But knowing the Academy, it's just another teen love story that is not recognized all. Hopefully in the wrong, but that's the way it usually is. This is the first film in years that I have set a 10. I do not give 10s easily, but there was nothing seriously wrong with this movie. The pace was perfect, the game was phenomenal, direction, editing and cinematography was exceptional and overall this movie is one of the best romantic comedies, which have touched the earth on all. I encourage everyone to go watch this movie, no matter how old you are, and bring a pack of tissues as well. You'll need it.10/10
